Fitness Philosophy: I have always made being active a part of my lifestyle for both my physical and mental health. Despite being active my weight has fluctuated tremendously over the years. Once I turned 50 I decided that I was going to lose the extra weight, get fit, and stay there. No more up and down and up again. This decision proved to be a good one because in November of 2025 I had a SCAD heart attack at 52. Being fit and healthy made the recovery so much faster and easier. I want this resilience for my clients. We all have different fitness levels, goals, aches and pains, strengths, and areas we can improve upon. I help people work through challenges with compassion, support, and motivation to be the best version of themselves every day. Because I have struggled, I am better equipped to help others overcome their own hurdles and achieve their goals.
Favorite Exercises: Push Ups, Planks, Medicine Ball Slams, TRX Rows, Squats.
Favorite Equipment: Dumbbells, TRX straps, Medicine Ball, the body.
Teaches: TRX mainly but I play substitute teacher in lots of different classes!
Enjoys: My time is fairly evenly split between teaching and training at the UVAC, running Life Styled, my home and personal styling business with my wife, and spending time with any combination of our four children. Our youngest and I have started hiking Vermont and New Hampshire 4K foot mountains.
