The Upper Valley Aquatic Center (UVAC) is a nonprofit organization that has served as an exercise, recreation, and rehabilitation destination for thousands since opening in 2009. Families, groups, and individuals rely on UVAC to learn lifesaving swim skills, build strength, rehabilitate, compete, and celebrate. Our mission is to deliver a diverse range of high-quality fitness and aquatic programs accessible to all members of the Upper Valley community.

Your sponsorship fuels UVAC’s Financial Aid Fund, helping remove financial barriers to swim lessons, youth camps, memberships, and essential water safety programs. In return, your brand is visibly aligned with child safety, equity, and access for all.

Programs Your Sponsorship Supports
 

Hartford Learn-to-Swim Program

Your sponsorship helps fund a free, five-week swim lesson program for all Hartford second and third graders. Offered throughout the school year in partnership with Hartford Schools and the Recreation Department, the program removes barriers by providing transportation, snacks, and childcare at no cost to families. Each year, more than 130 students gain critical water safety skills. With an annual cost of approximately $11,000, sponsor support is essential to sustaining this program.

Adaptive Swim Lessons

Your support makes inclusive, individualized swim instruction possible for children and young adults with autism, sensory needs, anxiety, and motor challenges. Led by Adaptive Swim Whisperers® Certified instructors, these private lessons create a safe, supportive environment that builds confidence and lifesaving skills for swimmers of all abilities.

Youth Camps

Sponsorship ensures children from across the Upper Valley can attend UVAC camps regardless of financial circumstances. Through programs like Splash Camp (for ages 6–10), campers gain swim skills, confidence, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences in a safe, enriching environment.

Membership Financial Assistance

Your sponsorship helps provide memberships to individuals and families who might not otherwise be able to access UVAC. Financially assisted memberships ensure consistent access to swimming, fitness, rehabilitation, and community connection—supporting physical and mental well-being year-round. For many households, this access is the foundation that makes swim lessons, camps, and healthy routines possible.
