More About Wendy
Wendy Bordeau joined the Upper Valley Aquatic Center in March 2026 as Assistant Executive Director and as of October 2026, will be serving as Executive Director.
Wendy spent more than 20 years in intercollegiate athletics in the Ivy League, where she coached varsity women’s rowing and served as a senior administrator at Cornell, Princeton, and Dartmouth. A 25-year resident of the Upper Valley, Wendy has also worked in public education at both the high school and elementary levels.
Wendy grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY and graduated from Princeton University in 1998. At Princeton she captained the women’s crew and earned magna cum laude accolades in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department.
Wendy currently lives in Quechee, VT with her two daughters Charlie and Hazel, and one rambunctious dog, Huck. She enjoys hiking, rowing, reading, and the ocean.
