Training for Skiing Injury Prevention with BE Fit Physical Therapy


Come learn preseason strength and conditioning exercises, as well as skiing form and training tips to try and errors to avoid in order to reduce your risk of injury this winter. Exercises targeting downhill and nordic skiing will be included. Participation encouraged.

Anti-inflammatory Eating with Sarah Lange of Whole Health Nutrition

In this session, Sarah Lange, a Registered Dietitian from Whole Health Nutrition, will discuss how the types of foods we eat can help reduce inflammation in our bodies. Inflammation can be caused by a variety of factors- whether it is a medical condition, genetic predisposition, stress, lack of exercise, or food allergies. While we can’t control all the factors that result in inflammation, we can manage certain conditions by focusing on what we eat, our activity level, and maintaining mindfulness about stressors in our lives.

Come learn what all the buzz is about! Are you looking to improve your athletic performance, perhaps participate at a higher level in team sports or just improve your golf game? Maybe you have pain that is debilitating, stretching could help to improve conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, lower back pain, joint pain and or post op. Our Stretch Coach will show you how you can help to prevent muscle imbalances that lead to injury.  Join us for this hands-on session, using tools such as foam rollers, lacrosse balls and thera guns.
